Position Overview:

 

We are a growing cybersecurity services company seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Sales & Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base in the cybersecurity services industry. Your primary focus will be on generating leads, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.

    • Analyse customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific cybersecurity requirements.

    • Collaborate with the management team to set sales goals, forecast sales volumes, and define sales budgets.

  2. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

    • Generate new leads through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and other lead generation techniques.

    • Identify key decision-makers and build relationships with potential clients to understand their cybersecurity needs.

    • Conduct effective cold-calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach to engage with prospects.

    • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company's network and generate leads.

  3. Client Engagement and Consultative Selling:

    • Conduct thorough needs analysis and consultative selling to understand client challenges and position appropriate cybersecurity solutions.

    • Present and demonstrate our portfolio of cybersecurity services to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits.

    • Collaborate with technical experts and consultants to develop customised solutions and proposals for clients.

    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business and close deals.

  4. Relationship Building and Account Management:

    • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, staying updated on their evolving cybersecurity needs and industry trends.

    • Collaborate with the delivery and customer success teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.

    • Provide ongoing account management, including regular communication, performance reviews, and relationship-building activities.

  5. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and technical experts, to drive sales efforts and deliver exceptional client experiences.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including prospecting activities, pipeline management, and sales forecasts.

    • Provide regular sales reports and insights to the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

​

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the cybersecurity services industry.

  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including knowledge of services such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security consulting.

  • Demonstrated success in generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric approach.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.
